Online Kierkegaard Links

Listing articles on an author is often a simple affair. With Kierkegaard this task is suspect. Why? There’s his unsparing disgust for scholars and assistant professors. Kierkegaard thought we should undertake philosophy with fear and trembling. This has led some to ask why we should read him at all. This site is set up with the wish that it might lead you, the reader, through the riddles and mirrors by which Kierkegaard hoped to guide us back to and beyond ourselves in primitivity.

Our heroes grew up in different parts of this great land. Faustus in Minnesota and FrankenKitty in Pennsylvania. The winds of chance brought them together when their lucky parents married and combined their households. Now the Faustus and FrankenKitty spend their time sleeping, hunting, eating, and providing succor and warmth to their often clueless parents.

"A daring, artistically uncompromising film about one of the greatest European philosophers, employing the oral tradition as a gateway into the world of Søren Kierkegaard. The film was shot at a Danish (folkehøjskole), where we meet a group of students as they intently follow their lectures and the ensuing debates."
